As Human Factor is the main contributor in the modern computerised engineering systems and industrial plants, the studying of its behaviours is of paramount importance in order to prevent severe accident occurrence.
Research and development in these areas has lead to the development of a methodology/tool, which is capable of “measuring” Human Error Probability (HEP) given the working context in which the operator is performing (e.g. working conditions, crew collaboration, personal factors, training etc.).
